Presenting oral testimony to the House and Senate Committees on Veterans Affairs could be viewed as an opportunity of a lifetime. Or, the experience could, for another, be intimidating and something from which to shy away.

In addition to the face-to-face contact with prominent Members of Congress, not to mention the often large group of spectators in back, the hearings are also now streamed live for viewing worldwide.
