Requirements to attend are: be a member of BVA, completed Blind Rehabilitation, can travel independently, possess the appropriate and current government issued identification for travel, can perform all activities of daily living (i.e., mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and eating), able to manage all personal medications, be able to communicate via email and phone.

BVA will consolidate the names, select attendees and notify them via email those selected to attend approximately 45 days prior to each event with further instructions.

Cost: A $100 deposit is required from all Veterans which will be returned upon completion of the camp and a survey.

Travel: All attendees are responsible for their own travel. First time attendees may be reimbursed up to $500 for travel expenses.

Lodging: Participants will be staying at the STARS Ranch for the duration of their trip.

Family Members: $399 per family member. This cost will cover accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily, and daily transportation to and from the resort. Family space is limited, all additional costs for family members (travel, lift tickets, rental equipment, lessons, etc…) are the responsibility of the attendee.

Meals: Breakfast, snacks and dinner included.
