RoundUp

BVA is part of RoundUp, an app that takes pocket change and donates it to your favorite nonprofit.

How does it work?

The app, which is linked to your bank account, debit card, or credit card, rounds up the spare change from your transactions and donates that spare change to the charity of our choice. For example, if you spend $15.46 at Walmart, RoundUp will round that transaction up to $16.00 and donate $.54 to BVA. You will be charged $16.00 with $15.46 going to your purchase and $.54 being donated.

Signing up and getting started.

  • Sign up for RoundUp via their website (https://roundupapp.com/), our RoundUp page (https://roundup.app/p/blindedveterans), or by downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Follow the prompts to select a nonprofit and choose Blinded Veterans Association.
  • Continue following the prompts to set up a minimum amount you would like donated a month and link a debit or credit card.
  • Once you have linked as many bank accounts and cards as you’d like, that’s it! Anytime you use your linked bank account or card, the transaction will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. If you are on a budget, you can set a maximum donation amount in the app; RoundUp will stop rounding up transactions once you reach the maximum for the month.
