It came all too quickly for some, but the transition into the New Year by BVA members, their families, and caregivers is now complete! As such, the Association’s National Board of Directors and National Headquarters are honored to send best wishes for a Happy and Prosperous New Year as the nation simultaneously kicks off its 250th birthday celebrations. We express sincere gratitude to all in the BVA community for your service to both the organization and to one another.
The New Year brings opportunities for renewal, reflection, new resolve, and optimism. At the same time, we also recognize the adversity that many continue to face in attempting to rise above life’s challenges after sight loss while simultaneously promoting dignity, independence, and self-worth in our fellow veterans. Our hope is that thousands of veterans whom we have yet to meet will find understanding, support, empowerment, and new purpose through BVA in the coming years.
May you and your loved ones experience a New Year filled with good health, peace, stability, and as many well-deserved moments of joy as possible. Taking a moment to reflect on what we accomplished in 2025, no matter how small, and planning a few new technology tricks to learn or devices to conquer can be surprisingly rewarding. We thank you again for your initiative to serve and sacrifice, and for the confidence and trust you demonstrate in the Blinded Veterans Association and its leadership.
