Event Description: First assignment: planting your seeds and tips on germination.

Guest Speaker: Cheryl Stewart, Vegetable Gardener

Bio: Cheryl Stewart is a 64-year-old retired mother and grandmother of 2 living in the southernmost part of Virginia.  Her relationship with Christ is a huge part of who she is becoming, and it has been the source of inspiration for her to till the ground and plant seeds to reap a harvest.  Currently, Cheryl gardens in the spring, summer, fall, and winter.  She gathered her skills from childhood experiences of planting food with her father.  Though her father is no longer living, she pulled from her long-term memory and began afresh, sharpening her gardening skills. Cheryl has gained additional knowledge from reading, watching YouTube videos, and simply putting her hand to the soil learning by trial and error. Outside of her relationship with Christ and nurturing family, gardening is the most rewarding experience of her life.
