BVA National Secretary Tracy Ferro will take the lead in discussing the VA Health and Benefits App, including logging onto the appropriate platform, in next week’s online session of the Association’s Town Hall and Educational Series. The meeting will begin at 3:00pm Eastern Time on Thursday, February 6, via Zoom. All BVA members are invited to attend—with attendance most strongly encouraged for leadership at national and regional group levels.
After today, January 31, veterans will no longer be able to sign in to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) websites and mobile applications with a MyHealtheVet user ID and password. After September 30, 2025, they will also be unable to sign in with a DS Logon username and password. The MyHealtheVet portal for individual veterans can still be used after those dates, but they will need to use either a Login.gov or ID.me account to sign into VA.gov, VA mobile apps, and other VA online services.
Tracy has been working with VA Section 508 compliance officials in the development of improved accessibility for veterans with sight loss. He will share his knowledge and experience with Town Hall participants.
