Please join the Dog Handlers Interest Group meeting next Tuesday, August 19, at 4:00pm via Zoom as attendees welcome Greg Steinmetz, Senior Manager of Admissions and Graduate Services at Guide Dogs of America |Tender Loving Canines (GDA|TLC). Greg oversees the intake process for prospective guide dog handlers and offers ongoing support to graduated guide dog teams. All past, present, and prospective dog handlers are invited to the meeting.
The Guide Dog Handlers Interest Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the same 4:00pm time slot. The meeting is open to all veterans with sight loss who are interested in topics associated with guide dogs. Using a guide dog at the present time is not required to attend and first-time attendees are always welcome.

His background in Guide Dog Mobility has equipped him with the expertise necessary to build successful partnerships with service animals and provide guidance in training, behavior, etiquette, and advocacy.
