The Veterans Day National Committee’s official 2025 poster was created by Army Veteran Jeremy D. Carpenter and is titled “Unified by Service”. The design reflects the 2025 theme, “Service to Our Nation,” by depicting a bald eagle against the American flag, with the seals of all uniformed services displayed on a banner to symbolize unity under one flag and one purpose. There were more than 180 entries from artists with varied backgrounds and levels of experience.

The poster, pictured here, can also be viewed with posters from previous years at VA’s Flickr account. It will be displayed at VA facilities, military installations, libraries, schools, and other community/municipal buildings nationwide. The design will also serve as the front cover of this year’s National Veterans Day Commemoration at Arlington National Cemetery on November 11 and the design on the lapel pins distributed to the participating Veterans Service Organizations.

“Unified by Service” is formal, structured, and patriotic. It pays tribute to all veterans regardless of when or where they served and emphasizes that service to the nation is not confined to one uniform, one battlefield, or one generation. The eagle, flag, and seals work together to portray unity, honor, and a continued commitment to freedom.

The Veterans Day National Committee webpage reports that contest winner Jeremy Carpenter is an Army veteran living in Lowell, Arkansas, with his wife and son. Although he is not a professional artist, he turns to creative outlets like design, music, and writing when inspiration strikes. For him, art is a way to reflect on experiences, express emotion, and share meaning with others. He is grateful for the opportunity to contribute in this small way and hopes that his work can speak to others in ways that matter to them.

The Veterans Day poster is also available for download on the VA website. BVA National Headquarters has a limited supply of printed card stock copies for regional groups and members only.
