Are you ready for an adventure? Apply soon for the 39th annual VA National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic (WSC) scheduled for March 30-April 5, 2025, in breathtaking Snowmass, Colorado. Join approximately 80 fellow blind and low vision veterans and a total of 400 disabled veterans for an unforgettable week of fun and camaraderie.
Whether you are a seasoned skier or have never hit the slopes before, there is something for everyone. Try your hand at downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. But that’s not all! The clinic also offers exciting activities like fly fishing, scuba diving, curling, and yoga. The
WSC is an opportunity to explore new sports interests and make lasting memories.
Worried about meals? Don’t be! All meals during the event are provided. Plus, transportation and housing subsidies may be available through your Visual Impairment Services Team Coordinator or Challenge Athlete.
If standing for long periods is a concern, no worries! You can experience the thrill of skiing in a chair ski, or using a mono-ski or a bi-ski where you’ll sit comfortably while an instructor guides you down the mountain.
