Last week, BVA Happenings referenced National Family Caregivers Month (NFCM). Every November, VA participates in recognizing and honoring the invaluable contributions of caregivers across the country. The Caregiver Support Program (CSP) highlights the vital role caregivers play in the lives of veterans with the theme: Caregiving Connects Us, Community Strengthens Us.

This year’s theme reflects CSP’s commitment to ensuring caregivers know they are supported and never walk this path alone. Caregiving may look different for every veteran and family, but it carries a shared purpose that connects caregivers. These connections create the foundation of a strong and supportive caregiver community—one where caregivers gain strength from one another.

VA invites caregivers of Veterans to participate in NFCM events across the nation, designed to inspire and connect them to other caregivers. Information about dates, times, and locations available in your area can be found by clicking below to reach out to the local CSP team.
