Who can run?
- Membership Matters: You must be a BVA member residing within the territorial boundaries of District 2 or District 4.
- Passion and Commitment: You are passionate about advocating for blind and low vision veterans with a commitment to serve a three-year term in office.
- Leadership Potential: You possess strong leadership skills and a vision for your district as part of the larger BVA community.
What are the key dates and steps?
- Nominations Open: February 1, 2024
- Nominations Close: March 1, 2024
- Candidate Requirements:
- Submit a one-page biographical sketch for nomination by February 28, 2024.
- Participate in two virtual candidate town halls in April.
- Elections: May 2024 (hybrid format: online, phone, paper)
