Last week I was able to bark about my dad, BVA member Arsenio, and our unbreakable bond. This week I wish to share a little about what that bond en“tails”. Humans often say that dogs are man’s best friend, but I am more like a son to my human. We have gone everywhere together since the day we met and, while I am a working dog and have a job to do, the companionship I offer is just as important.

Dad and I have gone hiking in every state park in Central Florida and have traveled deep in the heart of Texas visiting the Alamo. We have even gone to New York City and ridden in an iconic New York cab. Our days are filled with walks to ensure that we both stay in tip-top shape, and after dinner we watch the sunset from our gazebo in the backyard. One memorable moment that has always stayed with me is when Dad and I visited Kissimmee State Park in Florida. My sister was able to take a photograph, seen here, that perfectly captures the bond that Dad and I share.

I love the simple things in life—like laying in the grass and basking in the sun. I am known to all as a very affectionate dog, always giving hugs with my two front paws like an actual human does. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone that I would consider a stranger. In addition, as much as I love people, they love me even more.

If you are a BVA member and interested in having your dog featured in the Ambassadog Scoop Series, please send a message via email with your contact information, picture, and a brief introduction of your dog to bva@bva.org. I can’t wait for you to join the pack!
