Although the coronavirus pandemic has affected the rules, offerings, and gatherings at national restaurant chains for Veterans Day 2020, a number of free food and discount opportunities are still available to blinded veterans and their families.

Most of the free meals and other deals to celebrate veterans and their service are for dine-in patrons only, but a few chains are exercising even greater flexibility than usual. At one establishment, for example, free meal and beverage cards will be handed out to active duty personnel and veterans throughout the month of November. The vouchers provided will then be available to use through May 31, 2021.

The October 30 edition of Stars and Stripes and its electronic version have provided the newspaper’s traditional comprehensive listing of restaurants and their offerings for November 11. Also included are a few nonfood goods and services near the end of the document, which is accessible by clicking here.
