Join next Wednesday’s (September 10) session of the VetTech and Educational Series as regular participants and newcomers welcome Case for Vision. The 3:00pm Eastern Time meeting via Zoom will examine assistive technologies for people with vision loss that can be used with devices they already use.

Case For Vision creates compact, intuitive ways to read, watch television, and perform a host of other tasks and activities through devices with potential that may be largely untapped. Such devices may not be providing the maximum service for blind and low vision veterans. For example, Case for Vision transforms an iPhone or iPad into a powerful hands-free magnifier.

The innovators at Case for Vision aim to restore purchasing power to the people by replacing costly, proprietary devices with everyday smartphones, tablets, and computers, enhanced by precision engineering and optics. Built-in fold-out legs also enable the user to scan with OCR apps without having to hold the phone in mid-air.
