Please make 3:00pm Eastern Time next Wednesday, August 13, a priority on your calendar for the next session of BVA’s VetTech and Educational Series via Zoom. The session will feature eSight by Gentex Corporation, a pioneer and leader in wearable assistive technology for vision enhancement. The “eSight Go,” an advanced device for low vision, will be the focus of the presentation and discussion. Join the meeting here or via the link provided in the BVA calendar. A link to the calendar is also provided in Next Week’s Events in today’s BVA Happenings.

Using cutting-edge digital vision technology, “e-Sight Go” helps people with significant central vision loss from conditions such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy to see better—providing clearer, sharper vision, promoting independence and mobility, and transforming lives.

The presentation by eSight follows the current format for the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, in which producers and vendors of emerging adaptive and assistive technology are invited to describe the features and benefits of products and services that impact blind and low vision veterans. The topics for the first, third, and fifth (when one exists) Wednesdays of each month are participant centered and participant directed.

VetTech attendees are encouraged to provide feedback, suggestions, or other input for VetTech via email to info@bva.org with the word “VetTech” in the subject line.
