BVA’s National Bylaws were updated last year to empower every member with a vote in District and National elections, as well as on bylaw changes. This new system replaces the previous method where delegates at the convention voted on behalf of the entire regional group. Now, BVA members can vote by mail, internet, or phone.

Mailing Date Approaching Soon! 

Please be on the lookout for your paper ballot arriving in the mail and/or an email from elections@vote-now.com. These will contain all the necessary information for casting your vote.

Join Us for Town Hall on June 12 

The National Board of Directors invites you to a Town Hall on June 12 where we will discuss the bylaw revisions and answer your questions.

Prepare for Voting

Whitelist the Voting Email Address: Please ensure you receive important voting information by sending a blank email to elections@vote-now.com. This will help prevent messages from going to your spam folder. Please complete this step before Monday, June 2, 2025. Questions Concerning Voting should be sent to membership@bva.org or phone (202-371-8880).

Voting Timeline

Voting Begins: June 2, 2025. Consider waiting until after the Town Hall on June 12, which will discuss candidates, bylaws, and resolutions.

Important Deadlines

  • Mail-in Ballots: Must be received by July 2. Ensure you mail them in time, using the pre-addressed envelope provided. Remember to add a first-class stamp.
  • Voting Ends: July 9, 3:00pm Eastern Time.
  • Results Announced: July 11 by the National President at the In-Person Convention.

Key Town Hall and Voting Dates

  • June 5: Convention Town Hall but we will answer voting questions
  • June 12: Bylaws and Resolutions Town Hall Discussion
  • June 20: Reading of Convention Rules and Meeting of Bylaws and Resolutions Committee
