Leaders of BVA regional groups and BVA members interested in attending the Association’s National Convention August 14-18, 2023, are encouraged to read the full 2023 Official Convention Letter released and posted to the BVA website two weeks ago.

The Official Convention Letter includes the official notice required by the National Bylaws, convention highlights, frequently asked questions, important deadlines, and links to additional information. To access the letter, click here

Convention Coordinator Meredith Buono-DaGrossa has also announced the availability of newly released information and registration for the convention’s offsite activities August 14-16. To access the information and links to register online for these activities, click here.

Meredith has continued to strongly urge BVA members and their families to register for the convention itself as soon as possible, and to make reservations with the Marriott St. Louis Grand. She also recommends making flight or other travel arrangements now to secure the best rates.

If, for any reason, a representative of the Marriott St. Louis Grand indicates that dogs are not allowed at the hotel and refuses to place the reservation (this has occurred in isolated cases), please contact Meredith immediately at mbuonodagrossa@bva.org or at 202-371-8880, Ext. 304. The BVA rate is $126 per night plus tax. Convention attendees should verify immediately that they have received the BVA rate.

Regional groups are still encouraged to produce an ad for the convention program booklet. Ads and payments ($100 for a full page and $50 for a half-page) are due to Meredith by Tuesday, June 20. Please contact her with any questions about ad format or problems in creating the ad.
