BVA National President Joseph D. McNeil, Sr. will present BVA’s current legislative priorities at a joint session of the U.S. House and Senate Committees on Veterans Affairs. The 10:00am hearing on Wednesday, March 8, the first in-person session in three years due to the pandemic, will also include presentations by several other Veterans Service Organizations.

A full contingent of the BVA Board of Directors will attend the testimony while in town March 5-11 for their annual mid-winter meetings. They will also visit Congressional offices in the days leading up to the hearing. A special event is tentatively scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, March 8, in Alexandria, Virginia, for BVA members who attend the hearing in person earlier that day.

As is customary, a written version of the presentation will be submitted to Congress in advance and made accessible online by both Congressional Committees and BVA. The hearing will also be livestreamed. To become familiar with previous written testimony documents, visit BVA’s Government Relations page here. If interested in attending the testimony in person this year, please send an email directed to BVA headquarters staff at info@bva.org.
