Registration opened March 12 for the Visually Impaired and Wheelchair Divisions of the 2024 National Veterans Golden Age Games August 24-29 in Salt Lake City. Although online registration for the regular divisions is now closed, veterans who meet the criteria for the two additional divisions may register by calling 1-833-560-1069 and select option 2. A backup number for technical assistance during registration is 1-833-560-1069. BVA members who have participated in Golden Age Games of the past have given the event positive reviews. 

Founded in 1985, the National Veterans Golden Age Games serves veterans ages 55 years and older. Through its “Fitness for Life” motto, the Golden Age Games offers sports competitions and health education sessions to demonstrate the value that sports, wellness, and fitness provide to assist senior veterans live an active and healthy lifestyle. Many are surprised to learn that the National Veterans Golden Age Games is a qualifying event for the National Senior Games July 24-August 4, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa.
