Join BVA’s VetTech Team this Wednesday, July 12, at 2:00pm Eastern Time as the Weekly Wednesday Webinar welcomes Liz Whitaker, Product Manager for User Education and Research for Vispero, a sponsor of the upcoming national convention.  Liz will address the recent June 2023 rollout of a host of newly updated features and advancements to Freedom Scientific’s JAWS, Fusion, and ZoomText.

This past week, VetTech’s Wednesday Webinar featured the first of several appearances of convention sponsors. Michelle Mendez, National Sales Director for OrCam, offered an overview of the MyEye Pro and the MyEye Read. She also introduced OrCam’s team of stellar regional sales managers and their prompt and courteous troubleshooting responses that become effective follow-up actions to in-person training sessions. 

All VetTech webinars and talk sessions are currently open to everyone—blind and low vision veterans and nonveterans, family members, caregivers, blind rehabilitation specialists, and all other parties interested in assistive, adaptive, and accessible technology that can result in greater independence. Membership in BVA or attendance at previous sessions is not a pre-requisite to join VetTech or VetTech Talk sessions.
