BVA regional group officers should continue to refer to the full 2023 Official Convention Letter released and posted to the BVA website in early June. Members planning to attend the convention, regardless of their current registration status, should also use the letter as a reference.
The document includes the fast-approaching convention deadlines for making final plans to attend, holding meetings, and submitting important documents. It also includes the convention’s official notice required by the National Bylaws, highlights of the five days in St. Louis, frequently asked questions, and links to additional information.
Special attention should now be given to the two remaining urgent deadlines included in the letter: first, the July 21 deadline to both pre-register with BVA and make hotel reservations; and second, the July 25 ending date to send delegate credentials and proxy forms to BVA National Headquarters. Convention Coordinator Meredith Buono-Dagrossa continues to emphasize the availability of newly released information on the BVA website. The enthusiastic demand for offsite activities has now filled all available spaces to capacity and closed registration for those events.
The BVA rate at the Marriott St. Louis Grand remains $126 per night plus tax. Convention attendees should verify immediately that the reservation center has given them the BVA rate. Please contact Meredith at mbuonodagrossa@bva.org with any hotel problems or related questions.
Hotel garage parking costs $35 daily, including overnight. SP Parking, at 901 Lucas Avenue just two blocks from the hotel, offers parking for $10 per day.
