BVA members and their families throughout the country gathered virtually via Zoom yesterday for the first of several Town Hall meetings with National Headquarters staff relating to the upcoming BVA 79th National Convention at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville (Florida) Riverfront Hotel (see adjacent photo). 

The official dates for the BVA business portion of the convention are July 7-10, 2024. The July 5-12 dates are relevant for those wishing to participate in offsite tours managed by the American Council of the Blind. BVA Director of Development Meredith Buono-Dagrossa presented information about specific convention events, the planned exhibit hall, offsite tours, registration, hotel accommodations (food, guestrooms, parking, dog relief), and ground transportation.
