The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has recently announced that veterans will be able to manage all interactions with VA—including health care, benefits, and services—on a single place on VA.gov. The goals of the long-term project include the reduction in the number of websites, products, and interfaces veterans must use to obtain what they are searching for. They also include making veterans’ online experiences easy and intuitive and creating seamless interactions between VA.gov, the VA health and benefits mobile app, email, text messaging, and VA facilities.

The new site, to be named “My HealtheVet on VA.gov,” will be built gradually over the next two years. Beginning this past spring, some veterans began arriving at this new landing page as they signed in to manage their health on VA.gov. Over the rest of 2023, VA will offer this page as the starting place for managing health needs to more and more veterans. The page will have links to all the same health tools that veterans use today.
