Leaders of BVA regional groups and BVA members interested in attending the Association’s National Convention August 14-18, 2023, are encouraged to read the full 2023 Official Convention Letter released and posted to the BVA website three weeks ago. 

The letter includes the official notice required by the National Bylaws, convention highlights, frequently asked questions, important deadlines, and links to additional information.  

Special attention should now be given to two urgent deadlines included in the letter: first, July 6 for regional groups to send notices to their members about pre-convention meetings to elect delegates, and second, July 25 to send delegate credential and proxy forms to BVA National Headquarters. Convention Coordinator Meredith Buono-Dagrossa continues to emphasize the availability of newly released information on the BVA website and online registration for the convention’s offsite activities, which have now filled to near capacity. The BVA rate at the Marriott St. Louis Grand is $126 per night plus tax. Convention attendees should verify immediately that they have received the BVA rate and contact Meredith at mbuonodagrossa@bva.org with any encountered hotel problems or questions. Hotel parking costs $35 daily, including overnight. SP Parking, at 901 Lucas Avenue just two blocks from the hotel, offers parking for $10 per day.
