The Blinded Veterans Association (BVA) invites all of its constituent groups—members, their families, the organization’s financial supporters, and other friends—to take action and support its efforts toward recognition as a top-rated Great Nonprofit. Positive stories, experiences, or other comments about the Association from its stakeholders will result in increased visibility both nationally and in local communities as BVA seeks out veterans with vision loss who could benefit from its services, resources, and camaraderie.

GreatNonprofits, the top source of nonprofit stories and feedback, is honoring highly regarded nonprofits with its “Top-Rated List” for 2021. BVA’s presence on the list once again next year depends on brief reviews that are posted to a BVA-dedicated page on the GreatNonprofits website prior to October 31. All content will be visible to potential members, donors, volunteers, and partnering organizations. Top-rated nonprofits also receive an electronic badge for their websites, newsletters, and other marketing materials that results in greater donor support. In a recent study, 72 percent of people polled say that the presence of a badge increases their likelihood of giving.
