This past week, BVA’s VetTech team and Mathieu Paquette, Product Manager at Humanware, discussed the recently launched StellarTrek, the latest in standalone Orientation and Mobility devices for the blind that combines pinpoint accurate GPS capabilities with turn-by-turn navigation. Participants learned about new Artificial Intelligence that can recognize addresses and doors so that veterans with vision loss can confidently navigate those final steps toward their destination.

All VetTech webinars and talk sessions are open to everyone—blind and low vision veterans, family members, caregivers, blind rehabilitation specialists, and all other parties interested in assistive, adaptive, and accessible technology that can empower independence.
