New to BVA Happenings in 2024, the Ambassadog Scoop Series features guide dogs that have become significant in the lives of Association members and their families. The series offers news, tips, and guidance for dog handlers and others who spend time in the company of guide dogs. 

Donald was introduced last week and spoke in his first forum.  He follows up this week with this:

A big “woof-woof” to our friends at Waymo for their support of BVA and Ambassadogs like me! Calendar year 2023 was a year of growth for our friends at Waymo. Here are some of their accomplishments:

• The Waymo One service territory expanded to 225 square miles of Metropolitan Phoenix.
• With the help of their amazing partners’ voices, Waymo secured necessary permits to launch their public service in San Francisco.
• The company showcased their service in many popular neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
• Waymo welcomed their newest market in the heart of Texas—Austin!
