BVA has been a staunch supporter of the Million Veteran Program (MVP). The initiative was part of the 77th National Convention last year with a booth in the Exhibit Hall and other opportunities for interaction with our members and their families.

MVP is on a mission to improve veteran health care by studying how genes, lifestyle, military experiences, and exposures affect health and wellness. With more than 950,000 veteran participants, it is the largest research program at VA and one of the largest in the world on genetics and health.

With the goal to enroll the millionth veteran into MVP in 2023, support from the veteran community is still critical. The initiative is fewer than 50,000 veterans away from the historic milestone!

MVP recently sat down with Ben Flynn, U.S. Army Veteran, to talk about what inspired him to join this health research program. The hope is that his story will inspire additional veterans to join MVP. To view his brief video account, click here
