Answer His Call

Our attempts to “Answer Our Father’s Call” is to seek peace through collaboration. The essence of BVA’s national outreach program to locate and help fellow veterans sets the tone for the recently formed Spiritual Outreach Committee.

  1. We must work among different belief systems and be willing to understand each secular process.
  2. We must ask ourselves what it means to be a Chaplain, or in service to our Father, and what it means to serve our communities.
  3. What it means for Chaplains to “Answer His Call.”

As the National BVA Chaplain/Chair, it is incumbent upon me to be ready to answer all calls for needed outreach services, and to make it possible to search for and appoint regional group and chapter chaplains to support our outreach programs.

Be sure you know what services are required by your community of veterans and their families. Who knows better than you those who are sick and shut in? Check on our children while making sure our seniors are being served as needed. Ask the question: How can we help?

I am proud of the initial approach of our Spiritual Outreach Committee to serve our veterans with sight loss and their family members! They need Chaplains everywhere ready to serve!

Our Father already knows our will.
