Have you ever had difficulties knowing if a pedestrian crossing signal is indicating it’s time to cross? Listen along during  this Blinded Veterans Association’s VetTech episode as we learn from Willem Van de Mierop, a co-founder of AYES, Inc. and a developer of the mobile application known as OKO. The app assists the blind and visually impaired to receive the status of the pedestrian traffic light.

Do not miss this VetTech session in which participants will learn:

  • Overview of the OKO app; and
  • How to use the OKO app.

All VetTech sessions are open to everyone—blinded and low vision veterans, family members, caregivers, blind rehabilitation specialists and all other parties interested in the assistive, adaptive, and accessible technologies that can empower our independence.
