With each passing week, VA’s Million Veteran Program (MVP) continues to inch closer to accomplishing its unfathomable goal of a million veterans enrolled.

“We appreciate your continued partnership and support,” Jennifer Deen recently told Veterans Service Organizations. Deen is MVP’s Associate Director of Cohort and Public Relations.

MVP is a national research program looking at how genes, lifestyle, military experiences, and exposures affect health and wellness in veterans. The program is the largest research effort at VA to improve health care for veterans and one of the largest research programs in the world studying genes and health. It has already yielded results in areas such as mental health, heart health, and cancer.

Veterans who join the MVP make a difference for their communities by helping to improve health care for all. If you haven’t already done so, learn more about the program and become one of the soon-to-be million here.
