Regional groups throughout the country continue to be on the move to hold spring meetings to determine which members of the group will attend the BVA 79th National Convention and to elect convention delegates and alternate delegates. The urgency is, at least in part, due to the early July convention dates. The Heartland Regional Group, for example, met in Des Moines, Iowa, April 25 and 26.

Highlighting the meeting was an in-person appearance and presentation to the group by Jared Prisbrey, Vice President of Business Development with Honor Alert and a guest on VetTech’s Weekly Wednesday Webinar on March 20. Jared promotes Honor Alert’s Liberty Service, the Mobile Medical Alert System that provides emergency support services 24/7 through VA at no cost. There are no requirements to have either a landline or mobile telephone.
